Vintage 1960s french matfer mauveil hammered copper pan in very good used condition. The tin lining is worn away on an area on the inside bottom of the pan which means that if you plan to cook with acidic ingredients this will need to be relined. It's normal for pans to need relining with tin when they are used on a daily basis for years, especially if a metal spoon was consistently used instead of a wooden spoon. It is perfectly safe to use with non-acidic foods. This is a one-quart pan with a diameter of 5 1/2" and a depth of 3". The pan is 2 mm thick and weighs 2lb 6oz. It has no dents, just normal wear commensurate with age.

There are no deep scratches, this has been treated very well. This pan has many, many years of use left. It is made by the best french copper firm, matfer, and will be a joy to cook with.
