This is an excellent hammered copper pan from france. What intrigues me about this gorgeous pan is an.
Unusual signature/mark that i cannot decipher, not for lack of trying. I don't know if this is the name of a restaurant or a company or a person. There are no other marks. This beauty is showing very, very, little signs of wear to the exterior.
The side of the pan is virtually like new and the bottom shows mere hints of use. The inside is dark so it must have had some use. It is very well tinned. There are three copper rivets holding the handle tightly. It is 4 7/8" in diameter and 2 5/8 " high and 1mm thick. This item is made of iron and tin, copper.
