Exceptional quality cuivrerie 01 cerdon, antique french copper windsor pan in perfect condition, looking unused. Made by cuivrerie de cerdon - the copper factory of cerdon, was established in 1854, at the dawn of mechanization, and was one of the most important copper factories of france at that time.
This gorgeous windsor pan has a super highly polished iron handle that has a tear drop opening at the top end to enable you to hang the saucepan on a hook when not in use. The handle baseplate is sturdily riveted to the body of the pan with 3 copper rivets. The tin lining is immaculate - please click on the photos to enlarge them for abetter viewing experience. This pan looks as if it has very little use and was very well cared for in its long lifetime but has just been fully refurbished to bring it to near new condition again , but still knowing that you are getting the antique build quality construction of it from when things were still built to last.
If you were to look extremely hard overall, you may find some extremely light scratches and marks here and there due to past light usage and previous storage. The pan is also stamped'made in france' to the left of the handle and the right side of the pan has the makers mark cuivrerie 01 cerdon'.
