What a most beautiful and such an unusual rare "left handed" ancient french hammered copper patisserie pan. Lightly hammered copper and very sturdy at 1.6mm copper thickness. Unusually, the pouring spout on this pan is directed to pour to the right, which is especialy made to suit a left handed person. I have only ever sourced two other patisserie pans with the spout directed to the right before, and perhaps this beautiful piece was specially made to order for a specific job or person. It could also be most useful for pouring in ingredients with your left handed louch whilst whisking with your right hand. All hand made by a true french artisan from so long ago. It has brass braising on the underside of the copper handle.
The handle is secured firmly by two copper rivets. There is a small chip in the wooden handle finial at the very end. It has a long but tapering to a fine point pouring spout for precision pouring directly into molds or jars. This pan is of excellent quality and is still very much usable, day in day out. There are no dents or dings, and comes in excellent condition for its age and it is a very solid piece that will last you well.A most beautiful pan, still very much able to function for you as was intended. It has some very very light scratches and age related dark marks showing its past life in all its glory from a long life of culinary usage. A real honest piece of ancient french copper craftsmanship. This is a stunning old patisserie pan with a hollow but very sturdy copper handle that attaches to the pan with 2 copper rivets and has a detailed wooden handle. This lovely pan will still work hard for you for many years to come. Internal diameter - 4.35 / 11cm. Length including handle - 14.5 / 36.8cm. Width inc spout - 6.75 / 17.1cm. Height - 1.85 / 4.7cm. Weight - 1.07lbs / 0.49kgs. Also if you would like to reserve an item or discuss paying by installments, please send me a message to discuss. This item is made of copper and metal, hammered copper.
