Antique french 19th century copper fish kettle. An amazing piece of craftsmanship dating from the late 1800s. Beautifully hand made and strong enough to last many lifetimes.
Made in the traditional way with rolled edges and dovetail joints and brass welds. The cast iron folding handle is firmly riveted to the pan with copper rivets.
Monogrammed "l a" on the side. These kettles look wonderful planted with flowers. Total length 20 inch, height without handle 5 inch, width 6 inch.
(total length 51cm, height without handle 12cm, width 15cm). Lovely antique condition, the copper is bright and shiny with presence of patina. Rust on the iron handle. The tin lining has darkened with age, presence of verdigris inside.
