This lovely french 19th century paella pan has been handmade in the traditional way, with a dovetail seam running up the body of the pan and around the edge of the base. It has two tightly copper riveted wrought iron handles and a strong rolled over rim. Predominantly made for cooking seafood dishes, it could also be used as a jam pan. It is quite large at 18" in diameter and 3 3/16" high to the rim. It is in a superb antique condition with a lovely colour to the copper.
