This pan and lid is one that doesn't come round very often, huge pan with a solid heavy handle, enormous rivets, new tin lining by atelier du cuivre in villedieu on both the pan and the lid - amazing craftsmanship. It looks amazing hanging up, the patina is absolutely exceptional. The handle is firmly and securely fixed by three massive, proud rivets.It is lightly hammered - this is spectacular. This is a 2.8mm copper saute pan and lid that can be used all day long in any setting both domestic or professional - it is heavy enough to ensure exceptional longevity and exceptional even cooking. This is a hotel restaurant quality pan. It weighs 6.2 kilos 13lbs 14 ozs. The pan measures 31 cm across 12 1/4 inches and 11.5 cm high or 4 1/2 inches.
It is 60cm total length or 23 5/8 inches. It has surface scratches, it has been professionally polished and retinned by atelier du cuivre in villedieu les poeles', the patina is exceptional. There are no dents or damage. The base has a'jex fin' lightly brushed copper base, highly polished sides and a fabulous new tin lining. The lid is in excellent new tin condition also with a new polished copper surface - these have been together a long time.
