Antique Daubiere Copper Stock Pot Rustic French Kitchen Copper Daube Stew Pan Professional Cookware 1800s
Dating from the mid 1800s, this large french copper pan or "daubiere" would have left to sit on the stove all day or overnight to turn the cheapest cuts of meat into melt in the mouth perfection. Made in the traditional way with dovetail joints and brass welds, this rustic piece still boasts its original tin lining and is therefore perfectly safe to use in the kitchen. The folding cast iron handle and copper top handle are firmly riveted to the pan and lid with copper rivets. Diameter 9 inch, height 8 1/2 inch, width 11 inch. (diameter 23cm, height 22cm, width 29cm).
