We are pleased to offer this early saucepan. Discovered locally in the barn of a local chateau here in normandy is this early copper saucepan. Probably more for display though is still capable of use now it's absolutely gorgeous.
Approximately 6 3/4"(170mm) across and 3 1/2" (90mm) deep. Hand beaten from copper sheet with a folded and rolled top edge and a soldered base it's an early 1800s piece. An unusual folded and rolled copper 14 1/2 (370 mm) handle that's fitted with a single copper rivet. Pierced at the top with a hand wrought iron ring to hang it up. This is a stunning pan that's been delightfully aged and knocked about through age and use with a great patina.
